Trees Vol.5 | Thunderstorm Test | Unreal Engine 5.3 | Ultra Realistic Wind

First tests with 'Trees Vol. 5' and UDS weather in UE5.3.
The exposure of a lightning effect in combination with Ray Tracing + WPO + VSM requires an enormous amount of power.
Even with DLSS 3.5 there are FPS drops.
If you leave the flashes switched off in the weather options, there are no longer any major drops in performance.
I created my own kind of LOD system with blueprints, which was integrated into 'Trees Vol. 5' with the last 1.2 update.
The custom LOD system was also used for these gameplay recordings. Otherwise it would not have been technically playable.
With the help of these BPs the performance is improved again and at the same time this creates new user possibilities.
